19-year-old man seriously injured after show accident near Six Flags amusement park
VALLEJO, Calif. (July 14, 2022) – On Sunday, police received a report of an illegal side show that injured Tyler Ingersoll.
The show took place on July 3 around 7:00 p.m. involving at least 200 vehicles.
According to Ingersoll’s girlfriend, Alyssa Gastelum she and Ingersoll were onlookers at the show, when they heard gunshots. Gastelum ducked to dodge the bullets. When she got up, she found that Ingersoll had fallen to the ground. He had been hit by a black Mustang with silver rims. The impact knocked him down and hit his head.
Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals reported he suffered traumatic brain injury and was in critical condition.
The Ingersoll family set up a GoFundMe to pay for his medical expenses and his rehabilitation.
