Play Theatrely’s 2022 Fall Scavenger Hunt on Broadway

Broadway’s fall season is here and Theaterly has come up with a fun game to celebrate the many, many new shows coming to town!

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, will be to find a photo in your camera roll that represents a theme, item, or location found in a Broadway show opening this fall. (If you don’t already have one, feel free to do an impromptu photoshoot!)

When a show begins previews, we’ll share the show-specific prompt on our highlights along with information about the upcoming theater and opening night. Every guest is tied to the show, so we can all join in the fun on stage!

To play, post the photo on your Instagram (story or grid) and tag and the show (if you want). We’ll select the funniest and most original photos to feature on our feed. There might even be some freebies!

Check out our scavenger photo challenge clues below and happy hunting! For your convenience, we’ve added the theater and opening night date for each show.

  1. Leopoldstadt (Longacre Theatre, October 2): A Historic Family Photo
  1. Cost of life (Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, October 3): Hug a Loved One
  1. 1776 (American Airlines Theatre, Oct. 6): Give a story presentation at school (extra credit if you’re dressed as the character)
  1. Death of a seller (Hudson Theatre, October 9): At Work
  1. The piano lesson (Ethel Barrymore Theatre, October 13): A Family Legacy
