Kids in the Rotunda is back – with some changes | Arts and theater


The new lineup for the 2022 season includes many adult performers who have perfected their art for generations of children, as well as young performers who bring dynamism and skill to the scene. Programming :

Tom Pease and Stuart Stotts: The two Wisconsin singers, songwriters and storytellers have performed for families for three decades and have numerous recordings to their names – “Celebrate”, “Everybody Started Out Small” and their most recent, “Pass It on Down, Volume 1 ”. The two soloists will join forces to perform the first Kids in the Rotunda of the new year, thus raising and moving the audience. January 8

Vicious Yid: Get ready to dance to Yiddish dance beats, special guests, and klezmer group ‘shenanigans’ for all ages of Madison. Yid Vicious combines violin, clarinets, accordion, French horn, tuba, guitar, theremin and drums, along with new and unusual sounds – and a lot of energy. January 15th

Deaf master magicians and artists Magic Morgan, right, and Liliana will return to Kids in the Rotunda on February 12.


David Landau: A former first-year teacher and award-winning musician and artist, Landau infuses his performances with humor. With optimistic energy, he makes children sing, move, play, dance and laugh. Adults can sit or join in the show. 22 january

The Jerry Ensemble: Meet a group of talented high school musical theater students from southern Wisconsin. Members of the Jerry Ensemble will teach their young peers fun vocal warm-ups and share well-known Broadway tunes.
