Green Bay, Wis. – The internationally acclaimed hit theater show The Simon & Garfunkel story will crisscross the United States in more than 50 cities, including GREEN BAY on MARCH 30 at WEIDNER. The immersive, concert-style theater show chronicles the amazing journey shared by folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story of their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry, to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the 60s, and to their dramatic split in 1970. The show culminates with the famous “The Concert in Central Park” reunion in 1981 which had over half a million fans in attendance. With over 100 million albums sold since 1965, Simon & Garfunkel’s pitch-perfect harmonies and songs that captivated the era made them one of the most successful folk-rock duos of all time. Over the years they have won 10 Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. In 1977 the Brit Awards honored their album “Bridge Over Troubled Water” with Best International Album.
